Second Week in MTC, Provo, Utah

Dear Mom & Dad;

How is everything going for you two back home? Is it really quiet at home or do you have the little kids over all the time, just so there is a little bit of noise for you? What have you guys been up to? Dad how is work going for you? Good I hope. How is ACN going? Good I hope. Well everything is going pretty good here for me. I'm so ready to leave the MTC though. It gets kind of tiring doing the same thing over and over everyday. But at least I'm learning the Gospel right. It's so hard to pay attention in class for 10 hours straight, sometimes more. With prayer, anything can be accomplished. Well I'm glad to hear that everyone had fun at Wolf Cree. Dad I hear that you still can play racquetball and you were owning everyone. LOL Mom I understand about the hot tub, I mean why be out in the cold when you can be inside where it is warm, right? It's so crazy here, the first few days went by way slow, I never thought the day was going to end, but I have been here for 2 weeks and it feels like 2 days. I guess that's what happens when your busy right. Well I don't know if this is a good thing but I'm starting to adapt to the food now.LOL
It's probably a good thing that I am , but whatever. It's kind of crazy because I think I have lost weight, lol. Yesterday for fast and testimony meeting, it was so amazing the spirit was so strong . That was the first timeI have every cried bearing my testimony. It was so amazing I loved it. After we were done some of the Elders and sisters sang the first vision song, and it was so powerful . I loved it. One more week, I can't wait to get to Texas and get out to the real world of Missionary teaching. It's going to be so awesome. I'm trying to learn everything I can so I can hit the ground running when I get to Texas. I have made lots of friends here. Mel's cousin is so awesome, I love that kid so much, but it kinda stinks because he is leaving in two days. I'm going to miss that kid so much. Also there is this other Elder. His name is Elder Reay. He is the coolest kids ever. We are like best friends now. Mom and Dad thanks for checking up on the bike for me, you guys are the best parents ever. I don't know what I would do without you guys. I love you so much. That's awesome that Aaron got his mission call. Is he excited? When does he leave? Can you tell him congrats, and tell him good luck for me. Well how has the weather been there? The weather here hasn't been all that great. It snows one day, rains the next and is sunny the next, crazy stuff lol. Well yesterday walking to the Temple I saw that Kacie and maby Kortneight and Kaitlan had wrote on the sidewalks, lol. It was pretty funny, I am famous here at the MTC> Everyone comes up to me and is like , your the sidewalk missionary huh, lol. It's pretty awesome. Well I'm starting to get over being sick, that's a relief. I hated that. Everything is going awesome. Oh, there is this other kid named Elder Haueter, me and him and Elder Reay are going to make a basketball team when we get back and ball it up. Me and Elder Haueter are way good friends to, it's awesome. Hey, Mom could you get a different watch like one of those ones that snap up , not the band ones, it is hurting my wrist. If you could can you get a black one. Also do you think it would be possible to send me an Easter package, lol? Well I'm about out of time so I got to go. Next Monday when I leave we get to call home. Make sure you are around your phone anywhere from 9 in the morning until like 3 in the afternoon. I love you two so much , you are the best parents ever. I can't wait to hear back from you. Love ya Lots.

Elder Eppich's 1st letter home 2010

Hey! Mom & Dad;

How is everything going back home? I hope everything is going pretty good. How was Wolf Creek? Mom & Dad, thank you so much for taking care of the bike for me. I was so worried about that. So it will be down in Texas when I get there, right! Mom thank you so much for sending me those cookies. They are the bomb. Everyone loves them so much. Dad I guess you will just have to go on a mission so yo can get them too since Mom won't make them for you while your home, LOL. So the first day I was here I sat down at lunch to eat and the kid that I sat next to ended up being Melanie's cousin. He is in my Zone. I thought that was so crazy and cool. Me and him have become really good friends lately. Well the MTC isn't the best for my system. The food messes with your body. We are always running to the bathroom lol. At least it clears your system out right! Classes are going really good, the only day we ever have free time really is on p-day. The days have been going by like weeks, but all the missionaries say that after the first Sunday it flies by way fast. I know I might have made it easy for you guys when I left but it wasn't all that easy for me. I have been a little bit homesick the past few days, but I guess that is to be expected, right? I think I might be getting a little bit sick right now, my throat has been hurting a little bit ,but I will get over it. Well, Sunday I was called to be the Zone Leader, I was shocked when they called me to be one. I was like "NO I'am not ready".I know that if I am doing the right thing the Lord will be on my side and will always be there to help me when I need it. Hey! Can you tell the kids sorry that I can't really e-mail them because I don't have alot of time to e-mail them and it wouldn't be fiar if I emailed some and not the others. Well I love you guys so much. Your the best parents in the world. Love ya lots! Elder Eppich
